Information we process
The calculators are designed to run locally in your browser. We do not require an account. Amounts, comparisons and free-text inputs used in calculations are not intentionally sent to our server as part of the standard calculation process.
When you email us, we process the information you send, including your email address and message, so that we can respond and address requests. Avoid sending passwords, card details, or unnecessary personal data.
Analytics and technical information
Cloudflare hosts the website, provides infrastructure and email routing, and may process technical request information for delivery and security. Cloudflare Web Analytics is used for visitor and performance statistics. First-party calculator event tracking records only an event category and calculator identifier (for example, a completed Deal calculation), without calculator inputs, result amounts, account IDs or identifiers deliberately added by this site. Events are sent to Cloudflare for aggregate reporting and are suppressed when supported Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are enabled.
Local browser preferences
The site may remember your selected currency, units and other preferences in browser storage. You can clear such preferences through your browser settings. Currency and distance defaults may use a country code returned by Cloudflare or browser locale when you have not selected a preference.
Sharing
If you choose to copy or share a decision result, its visible summary may include financial amounts. Sharing through WhatsApp or another service is at your direction and subject to that service's privacy practices. Current shared links do not contain financial inputs.
Advertising and affiliate services
The homepage loads Google AdSense code for site ownership verification and review. This request may provide Google with technical information such as an IP address, browser details and referring URL. Display advertisements and affiliate placements are not currently active. Before ads are activated, we will implement applicable consent controls and update this policy to describe advertising cookies, personalization choices and relevant providers. Lawful processing, recipients and transfers
We process information for operating the website, responding to enquiries, maintaining security and understanding aggregate site performance, subject to applicable legal grounds. Cloudflare and email forwarding providers may process information outside South Africa; applicable safeguards and service arrangements require operator review.
Retention and security
We retain enquiry correspondence only as reasonably necessary for its purpose and applicable obligations; an exact retention schedule must be approved by the operator. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
